Yes, India is my country and I have no regrets to say that it is a third-world country. It might come off as harsh and disrespectful, but India needs to be put in its place for what it is. This country is masquerading as a regional superpower yet doesn't understand what that even means.
The disturbing events happening recently and utter disregard for the poor and middle class are outrageous.
While a lot of people of this country come together to support each other, to help each other, to get out of us from this misery in these tough times. There is a handful class of people who have utter disregard for their fellow citizens, businesses, and any rationality. They are going on a rampage to disrespect, bully, and destroy the lives & livelihoods of the poor & middle class under the cover of protection.
Our constitution provides us the right to live with dignity and livelihood. Yet these civic servants throw both in the drain and boasting their powers and flexing their muscles on those people who don't have a voice.
I am seeing such horrific treatment of my countrymen daily and the people who need to be punished for such inhumane methods get away with it without any consequences.
What can you do more to make the people of this country doesn't exist anymore mentally & physically?
Destroy the vehicles of street vendors & the common public because you can
Punish the shop owners for the behavior of their unruly customers because they can't fight back
Enforce social distancing & travel restrictions with an iron fist only for the general public & small businesses. Because those in power can get away without following the protocols and it might be an inconvenience for them. So need to balance the act by pushing hard on the poor and middle class.
Construction of central vista is essential while a street vendor who is trying to make a living is not. It's about priorities right.
Through the constitution down the drain because you can. Ask the people to follow the law, because they should.
In this third-world country, every point and part of the constitution can be violated, disrespected, and can be treated like trash by those in power. But the common man like you and me should follow the law and bow down to our masters and call our country the next superpower.
